Bingo: A Celebrity’s Game

Hey, do you know Carl Froch? No? He's the British World Champion boxer. And what does he have to do with bingo? Nothing special, really, except the fact that he just loves the game! How about that? A mighty boxing champion at a bingo hall on a Sunday night. You are probably already used to famous women playing bingo, but a boxer! Wow! Even we were amazed.

The British Celebs

So we've started thinking, how many famous people playing bingo do we actually know, and came up with quite a long list. First there's Sharon Osbourne, of course, with her own bingo room at the Gala Bingo. Then we've got a well-known bingo fan Robbie Williams, but did you know that Russell Crowe was also into the game? You've all seen the 888 Ladies Bingo Vic Reeves' commercial, so no need to stop there, but the next on the list is Damon Hill! That's already something. He had even compared the adrenaline at the bingo hall with the one on the race track! Would you like some?

And the names go on and on including the the British TV and radio star Jeremy Kyle, the Rolling Stones' Mike Jagger's wife Bianca and their daughter Jade Jagger, the famous model Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan, the Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, the Irish supermodel and the TV presenter Glenda Gilson, Denise van Outen from The Big Breakfast etc. And if the rumors are correct, and we believe they are, the list ends with the most honorable person of them all, the Queen of England herself!

Hollywood Stars

Ok, so there's no doubt that the British celebrities (and an Aussie) love bingo, but what about the overseas? Does Hollywood look like a place to play bingo? You might be surprised, but some of the brightest Hollywood stars such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jennifer Aniston and Darryl Hannah are also huge bingo fans. Catherine is even known to host Christmas bingo parties for her friends and family as well as being an active participant of various bingo charity events. Now the other world-famous actress and singer Jessica Simpson, does not only play the game, but is widely-reported to entertain the bingo lovers performing at the bingo halls. One of the venues was the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino.

However, they are not the only one's playing bingo in America. Some of the other famous people also seem to enjoy the game. Like the Dixie Chick Natalie Maines or Mr. Bill Clinton (no doubt his balls would be the lucky one's). Even the U.S. President's Barack Obama's step-mother plays bingo. And it is not that these people only play bingo at the public charity events. Some of them are even active participants of online bingo room promotion campaigns. And what's more is that they very often play bingo themselves!

So if you are the person who wants to take part in celebrity life, just take a visit to your local bingo hall, or, even better, join the BingoNews.info online bingo community and log on to one of the numerous online bingo rooms and enjoy your bingo game at home!
