Bingo Fans Protest Against The Tax Increase

Earlier today, a crowd of bingo goers ignored the police as they pitched their protest in Westminster to convey their disgust against the rise in bingo tax and the decline of bingo halls.
Over 200 bingo enthusiasts braved the scorching heat in London’s capital to protest against the government’s tax ruling. The government has removed value added tax this year but increased gross profit tax from 15 per cent to 22 per cent.
The tax increase is forcing more and more bingo halls to close and has left many struggling to keep up the momentum. More people are now turning to online bingo to satisfy their need for the game they love.
The campaigners stood defiantly in their protest at Old Palace Yard and politicized that ‘empty house’ will be the future of bingo if the ruling is not reversed or changed.
